This bowl game marks MU’s 7th consecutive bowl game, a school record, and 8th bowl game in 9 seasons; Overall this is Mizzou’s 29th bowl game.

The NC Tarheels are 2-4 in their last 6 games, after opening the season 5-1. They are also making their 29th bowl appearance.

*Side note: The Kansas Jayhawks are heading back to the Toilet Bowl presented by Kohler for the 3rd straight season. kU finished 2-10 and 0-9 in the Big 12. They look to knock off a Piece of Shit (1-11) and end their dreadful streak. Piece of Shit is looking for their second win of the season.
